NSE Clearing Limited implements One Time Password based Two Factor Authentication for user login in the Electronic Gold Receipt system. This requirement applies to both admin users and sub users. Members must download and install the new EXE version 4.2.5 from the member portal. Upon the first login, members must register their mobile number and email address. The system sends an authentication code to these registered contact points. Users must enter this code to complete the login process. The system disables the user ID after four invalid code attempts. Members must contact NSE Clearing Limited if the system disables their user ID.

- Register a mobile number and email address during the first login.
- Enter the received One Time Password to complete the login process.

THE USER MANUAL OF OTP BASED 2FA
- Member will have to insert login Credentials on NCMS-EGR log in page

- After password validation, for the first time login registration window will pop up forcefully. Member will register with mobile number and email Id.

After successful registration, OTP will send on registered mobile number and email Id.

OTP window will pop up to enter OTP.

After entering valid OTP, log in will be successful.

In case of invalid OTP entered, error will be displayed and OTP can be regenerated after 30 seconds-

- In case of 4 invalid OTP entered, user ID will be disabled, and member needs to connect with NSE Clearing Ltd.

In order to enhance the security measures, NSE Clearing Ltd shall be implementing OTP based Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for user login in NCMS- EGR (Admin user as well as Sub users).
Members are requested to note that a new EXE version of 4.2.5 will be made available with effect from 12-Sep-2026.
Two Factor Authentication (2FA) shall be implemented w.e.f 15-Sep-2026 for user login on NCMS-EGR. The user manual of OTP based 2FA is provided in Annexure 1.
