Reversal Trade Cancellation Mechanism (RTCM)
Official record
Open source pageSummary
Check the official recordThe National Stock Exchange defines the methodology for shortlisting symbols under the Reversal Trade Cancellation Mechanism for November 2026. The mechanism applies to series EQ, BE, BZ, SM, ST, and SZ. The exchange excludes approved securities, Nifty 500 index constituents, and ETFs from this list. Trading members access the symbol list in the file CM_RTCM_nov2026.csv on the exchange extranet. This facility helps prevent reversal trades between two PANs when specific thresholds occur. The mechanism does not remove the obligation of trading members to follow existing regulatory provisions for trade conduct.
