Sub: Updates in Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR)
This has reference to Exchange circular NSE/EGR/76111 dated September 01, 2026 regarding Modification in the contract parameters of Products under Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) Segment.
Accordingly with effect from September 07, 2026, the trade value shall be computed as Trade quantity * Trade price * (Trading unit/ Quotation unit).
Kindly note that trade price shall continue to be reflected in ‘Quotation unit’ in various member interfaces and reports provided by NCL.
Further with reference to Part E of our circular no. NCL/EGR/74200 dated May 13, 2026 the ‘Instrument Type’ value (FinInstrmTp) in various Udiff reports shall be modified from ‘STK’ to ‘EGR’.
The above changes shall be effective from September 07, 2026.
