The Reserve Bank of India consolidated these instructions into function-wise Master Directions and subject-specific instructions. Consolidation/ Review of instructions issued on currency management matters – Withdrawal of Circulars/ Guidelines
In pursuance of the Reserve Bank’s ongoing initiative to rationalise the regulatory framework, a review of instructions issued on currency management related matters has been undertaken. The exercise involved consolidation of extant circulars/ guidelines into function-wise Master Directions (MDs) and subject-specific instructions.
