Government Stock Auction Results

What changed

The Reserve Bank of India has released the results of the government stock auction conducted on July 17, 2026. The auction involved three securities: 6.03% GS 2029, 6.68% GS 2033, and 7.24% GS 2055. For each security, the notified amount was fully accepted, with ₹11,000 crore accepted for the 2029 and 2033 stocks, and ₹10,000 crore for the 2055 stock. The cut-off prices were established at ₹99.61, ₹100.31, and ₹98.16 respectively, with corresponding implicit yields of 6.1988%, 6.6203%, and 7.3941%. There was no devolvement on Primary Dealers for any of the auctioned securities.
