The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has empaneled nine audit agencies to conduct audits of the accuracy of metering and billing systems for service providers. This empanelment is effective for a period of three years starting from 22nd February 2024, covering the financial year 2024-25 and onwards. All Unified Access Service Providers and Unified Licensees with authorization for Access Service are required to appoint an auditor from this notified panel. The appointment must be finalized and communicated to the TRAI office no later than 31st March 2024 for the audit of the 2024-25 financial year. Audits must be conducted in accordance with the Quality of Service (Code of Practice for Metering and Billing Accuracy) Regulation, 2023.
What you must do
- Appoint an auditor from the empaneled list for the financial year 2024-25.
- Intimate the appointment of the auditor to the TRAI office.

Subject: Notification of the panel of Auditors to Audit the accuracy of Metering and Billing Systems of the service providers.
Sir,
In accordance with the Quality of Service (Code of Practice for Metering and Billing Accuracy) Regulation, 2023 dated 11th September 2023, and guidelines thereof dated 19th September 2023, TRAI has to notify a panel of auditors to Audit the accuracy of Metering and Billing Systems of the service providers.
- Accordingly, the Authority has empaneled following nine Audit Agencies as auditor to audit the accuracy of metering & Billing system of service providers for a period of three years w.e.f. 22nd February 2024 for audit of FY 2024-25 and onwards in accordance with the Quality of Service (Code of Practice for Metering and Billing Accuracy) Regulation 2023 (03 of 2023) dated 11th September 2023 including all subsequent amendments made thereto and the guidelines & checklist, as issued by the Authority from time to time:
