Open source pageNOTICE Notice No. 20260630-14 Notice Date 30 Jun 2026 Category Trading Segment Equity Department Trading Operations Subject Addition of new gateways in equity production environment Attachments No Attachment All members kindly note that BSE plans to increase the gateways in production set-up of exchange. These gateways will be added in equity segment. All ETI based member applications make connection to connection gateway which in response assigns an IP address of a different gateway to each connection and the member application makes the subsequent connection to the IP address received in response. Exchange plans to increase the gateways in production set-up while there is no change in connection gateways. Thus, member application will continue to make connection to existing connection gateway and connection gateway may assign the new gateways to the connection. Thus, network reachability to these new gateways may need to be provided. Following are the list of IP and ports of the additional gateways that will be added in production set-up. Segment IP Address PORT Equity 10.255.255.65 10.255.255.66 10.255.255.67 10.255.255.68 10.255.255.69 10.255.255.70 18906 to 18914 Equity (BSE Colocation) 10.255.253.5 10.255.253.6 10.255.253.7 18906 to 18914 As per the BOLT Plus Connectivity Manual, it is recommended to allow the complete IP range of 10.255.X.X to avoid any last-minute configuration changes. The manual further recommends that clients should permit the above-mentioned routes within their network. The subnet has been intentionally kept broad to accommodate any future addition of servers within the exchange infrastructure without requiring changes at the client end. Please note that the exchange may introduce new servers within this defined range without prior intimation. Accordingly, all existing gateways are assigned IP addresses within the 10.255.X.X range, and any new or additional gateways will also be provisioned within the same range. Therefore, if the member network has already allowed routing for the range 10.255.0.0 with subnet mask 255.255.0.0, all current and future gateways will be accessible without any further changes. Otherwise, the member network will need to update configurations to include newly added gateways. Also, as indicated above the Connection Gateway IP address continues to remain the same and the member application should send the connection request to connection gateway only as it is done currently. The additional gateways in production it will be commissioned from 6th July 2026. All members are required to make changes (if any) before the dates mentioned above.
