Check the official recordBSE modifies the Designated Market Maker (DMM) framework for Index Futures contracts. This change applies to SENSEX, BANKEX, and Focused IT indices. The Exchange increases the maximum permissible bid-offer spread from 0.10 percent to 0.25 percent of the bid price. Trading Members must follow these revised requirements starting July 15, 2026. All other existing provisions of the DMM framework remain unchanged. Trading Members should consult Annexure 1 for detailed guidelines.

This is in continuation of Exchange Notice No. 20260422-2 dated April 22, 2026, regarding the Designated Market Maker (DMM) framework for Index Derivatives contracts in Equity Derivatives Segment.
Trading Members are hereby informed that the Exchange has partially modified the DMM framework for Index Futures contracts, with effect from July 15, 2026.
The revised maximum permissible bid-offer spread is as under:

Trading Members are advised to refer to Annexure 1 for the detailed guidelines on the revised DMM framework applicable to Index Derivatives contracts in the Equity Derivatives Segment.
