Bhav Copy File in UDiFF format in Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) Segment

NOTICE

Trading Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that it is proposed to introduce the Bhav Copy file in Unified Distilled File Format (UDiFF) for the Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) Segment.

The proposed change will be made live from the end of the day on Monday, August 24, 2026

The existing Bhav Copy file format (EGR_BHAVCOPY_DDMMYY) will continue to be made available in parallel with the new UDiFF files until the end of the day on Friday, September 25, 2026. Thereafter, Bhav Copy files for the EGR segment will be available only in the UDiFF format.

The file will be made available for download on the BSE website and Extranet after the close of EGR trading.

Members are requested to refer to the enclosed Annexure for the file structure and sample file details.

Trading Members are advised to take note of the above and initiate the necessary changes in their systems to ensure a smooth transition to the UDiFF format.
