The exchange will no longer provide these additional streams during future DR mock sessions or live trading from the DR site. Existing multicast stream IP addresses and ports remain unchanged and continue to serve both the Primary site and the Disaster Recovery site. This change takes effect immediately.

Exchange vide notice number 20241221-2 dated 21 Dec 2024 has introduced additional multicast stream for EDX segment from Disaster recovery site. The additional multicast stream was introduced with some changes to reduce the packet drops as members experienced very frequent packet drops on existing stream while trading from DR. The additional streams were available in colocation center only.
Over a period, Exchange has done optimisation on its network, and the quality of data has been improved, and it has been observed in last 2 live trading from DR site that there has been no substantial drops of packets on existing streams of multicast and the drop count is similar on existing and additional multicast streams. Therefore, there is no value addition in continuing the additional stream of multicast also operating multiple streams for same data set would increase the bandwidth consumption at exchange. Thus, it is planned to discontinue the additional multicast stream for EDX segment from Disaster recovery site from immediate effect and it would not be available in future during DR mocks and live trading from DR. The Multicast IP addresses of the additional streams are mentioned below for your reference.
