The BSE has issued a notice following a communication from SEBI regarding the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) June 2026 Plenary outcomes. The FATF has updated its lists of jurisdictions with strategic Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) deficiencies. Specifically, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iraq, and the Virgin Islands (UK) have been added to the list of jurisdictions under increased monitoring. Exchange members are advised to review the updated FATF public statements concerning high-risk jurisdictions subject to a call for action and those under increased monitoring to ensure necessary compliance and appropriate risk management actions are taken.

- As part of ongoing efforts to identify and work with the ‘jurisdictions with strategic AML / CFT deficiencies’, the FATF has released Public Statements after June 2026 Plenary.
