Each partition serves a set of products, and from the effective date, trading will be conducted across 5 partitions for all products. Partition Information: Partition details are available in the Equity master file (BSE_EQ_SCRIP_DDMMYY.csv) under column 56 (UnqPdctIdr). Given by partition id-product id for e.g 4-261 Impact on ETI-Based Applications • All ETI applications utilizing Partition ID for retransmission of orders, trades, or other partition-oriented messages must be updated to query for 5 partitions instead of 4. • The number of partitions is also included in the Session Logon Response (Template ID 10001) message of the ETI API under the field name NoOfPartition(1770). Product Movement • The Exchange will gradually create new products and may move certain products from the existing 4 partitions to new partition 5. • Any change in partition assignment will be reflected in the BSE_EQ_SCRIP_DDMMYY.csv file. Impact on EMDI/EOBI • Movement of products between partitions will affect the existing EOBI/EOBI streams, as these are partition-wise multicast streams. • Market data for a product will be available only from the multicast stream of the partition to which it has been moved. • Please refer to the BOLTPLUS Configuration file version 1.17 (attached) for details on partition-wise multicast streams of EMDI and EOBI. The file is also available at www.bseindia.com/nta.aspx. All members are requested to make necessary changes in their EOBI/EMDI applications to accommodate ongoing product movements. Testing and Simulation • A mock session will be conducted on June 13, 2026, for members to test the addition of new partitions. • Partition 5 is already available in the Simulation environment for testing from April 4, 2026.
