Mock Trading on Saturday, September 05, 2026, for Equity segment

Exchange has scheduled a mock trading session (from PR site) in Equity segment on Saturday September 05, 2026. As per circular no. 20260803-35 & 20260825-29 issued regarding Modifications in Pre-open Call Auction Session in the Equity Segment applicable for live trading from Monday 07 September 2026, mock trading session has been scheduled as follows –

Members are also requested to refer to Exchange Notice No 20201201-22 dated 1st December'2020 regarding Testing of software used in or related to Trading and Risk Management. Members may choose to participate either in Mock Trading Session or UAT environment for fulfilling their regulatory requirements in accordance to SEBI circular no. SEBI/HO/MRD1/DSAP/CIR/P/2020/234 dated November 24, 2020

Trading members using third party trading platforms can also use this opportunity to test their respective trading application during mock trading session for various functionalities (including exceptional market conditions), viz. various types of call auction sessions, risk-reduction mode, trading halt, block deals, etc.

A. Mock Trading Session timings -

^ - Random stoppage of order entry session in last 1 minute for Periodic Call Auction

^^ - Random stoppage of order entry session in last 10 minutes for Special Pre-Open for IPO & Re-listed scrips.

* - Random stoppage of order entry in last 2 minutes & order matching period will start immediately after completion of order entry period.

B. Trading members are requested to note following Important instructions –

• BOLT Pro TWS version

  New version of BOLT Pro TWS 13.50 shall be released. This version to be used for during mock trading session & as well as for live trading from Monday September 07, 2026. It shall be available for download on September 04, 2026 from 7:00 pm onwards. Details for same shall be published via separate circular.

• Closing reference price for CAS eligible securities shall be calculated based on VWAP of trades executed between 03:00pm - 03:15pm.

Trading members using third party trading application are requested to take note and use this opportunity to test their respective trading application for changes related to Modifications in Pre-open Call Auction Session during mock trading session.

Market participants are requested to note that the mock trading session is merely for the purpose of testing and familiarization and that the trades resulting from such mock trading will not attract any margin obligation or pay-in and pay-out obligation and will not create any rights and liabilities. Participants are requested to participate actively in the mock trading sessions.
