BSE modifies WTI Crude Oil derivatives contracts effective September 07, 2026. The exchange changes the product symbol from WTICRUDE to CRUDEOIL for both Futures and Options on Futures. For Options on Futures, the exchange increases the strike range to 50-1-50 and moves the expiry day to five business days before the underlying futures contract expiry. This expiry change applies to contracts expiring in September 2026 and later. The exchange updates the contract master file on September 04, 2026. Trading members must participate in a mock trading session on September 05, 2026.

Trading Members are hereby requested to note that the following modifications are being made to the WTI Crude Oil derivatives contracts, effective from September 07, 2026.

The revision in the Expiry Date of WTI Crude Oil Options on Futures shall be applicable from the contract expiring in September 2026 and onwards.

The WTI Crude Oil Options on Futures contract launch calendar with the revised expiry dates is specified in the notice.

The revised expiry date of the existing WTI Crude Oil Options on Futures contracts shall be available in the contract master file, which shall be generated at the end of the day on September 04, 2026, and shall be applicable for the trade date September 07, 2026.

There shall be no change in the expiry cycle of WTI Crude Oil Futures contracts.

Trading Members are requested to actively participate in the mock trading scheduled on September 05, 2026.
