Press Release regarding reclassification of REITs in BSE Indices
MUMBAI, JULY 15, 2026: With reference to SEBI circular (SEBI Circular no. HO/24/13/12(1)2025-IMD-POD-2/I/157/2025) regarding reclassification of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) as equity related instruments, REITs will be considered eligible for inclusion in BSE Equity Indices. The change in the eligibility criteria shall be made applicable from the upcoming scheduled reconstitution of the BSE Equity Indices.
