Official record
Open source pageSummary
Check the official recordBSE has updated the FATCA/UBO file structure and validation requirements for the StAR MF platform. New tax descriptions under the Non-Profit Organization (NPO) category—Society, Trust, FCRA, NGO, and Section 25/8 Company—must now be included when updating NPO details. These validations apply to all client categories across the User Interface, bulk file uploads, and APIs. Members must ensure all FATCA/UBO/NPO information is accurate and verified before placing orders, as incomplete or inconsistent data may lead to transaction rejections by RTAs. For non-demat transactions requiring new folio creation, members must report these details alongside transaction data. Members using third-party or in-house systems must complete necessary technical modifications before the September 1, 2026, implementation deadline.
