The Central Government changes the date for linking the Aadhaar number with the Permanent Account Number. The Central Board of Direct Taxes amends the prior notification dated the 28th September 2019. The Central Government replaces the date of the 31st December 2019 with the date of the 31st March 2020. This change applies to persons required to link the Aadhaar number under sub-section (2) of section 139AA of the Income-tax Act 1961.
