MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) (CENTRAL BOARD OF DIRECT TAXES) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21st March, 2018 G.S.R. 252(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution. the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Direct Taxes, Notice Server Group C posts, Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:- 1. (i) The rules may be called The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Direct Taxes. Notice Server Group C posts, Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018. (ii) They shall be come into force on the dale of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Schedule to the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Direct Taxes, Not ice Server, Group C posts, Recruitment Rules, 20 15, the following ~hall be amended namely- (i) In column 4: a) for the existing entries in Heading "Pay Band and Grade Pay", the words "Level in the Pay Mau'ix" shall be substituted. b) for the words and figures "Rs. 5200-20200+ Grade Pay of Rs. 2000" the word and figure "Level 3 ill the Pay Matrix (Rs. 21700-69100)" shall be substituted. (ii) in Column 11: a) for the words and figure "Pay Band-I of Rs.5200-20200 +Grade Pay of Rs. 1800" the words and figure "Levell in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 18000-56900)" shall be substituted. Recruitment Rules, 2015 were notified in the Gazette of India vide G.S.R. 991(E), dated 18 th Dece mber. 20 1S. Following the recommendations of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 dated 25 th July, 2016, the Government had issued instructions vide DoPT OM No. AB.14017113/2016-Estt.(RR), dated 9 th August, 2016 to amend the existing Pay Band and Grade Pay by the new Pay Structure.
