The Central Government allows the export of an aggregate quantity of up to 2000 MT of white onion under ITC HS code 07031019. The export is allowed through Mundra Port, Pipavav Port, and Nhava Sheva or JNPT Port taken together. The exporter obtains a certificate from the Horticulture Commissioner of the Government of Gujarat. The certificate verifies the item and the quantity of the white onion. This notification takes effect immediately.

Subject: - Export of 2,000 MT of White Onion under HS Code 0703 10 19.
S.O. (E) The Central Government, in exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, hereby incorporates the following Policy conditions for export of White Onion against ITC (HS) code 0703 10 19 of Chapter 07 of Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy, as under:

Export of upto an aggregate quantity not exceeding 2000 MT of white onion has been allowed through the specified ports, taken together, with immediate effect. The exporter shall have to get the certificate from the Horticulture Commissioner, Government of Gujarat certifying the item and quantity of white onion to be exported.
