The Department of Personnel and Training updates the tie-breaking principles for the Combined Section Officers (Grade B) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2025. The department changes paragraph 9(iv)(B)(d) of the rules published on 17 September 2025. Under the revised rule, if marks at clauses (a), (b), and (c) are equal, the candidate senior in age receives a higher rank instead of the candidate younger in age.

सा.का.नि. 772(अ).—दिनांक 17.09.2025 को भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण के भाग II, खंड 3(i) में प्रकाशित संयुक्त अनुभाग अधिकारी (ग्रेड 'ख') सीमित विभागीय प्रतियोगी परीक्षा, 2025 के नियमों में टाई ब्रेकिंग सिद्धांतों के संबंध में पैरा 9(iv)(ख)(घ) में एतद्द्वारा निम्नलिखित परिवर्तन किए जाते हैं:

G.S.R. 772(E).—In the Rules for the Combined Section Officers' (Grade 'B') Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2025 published in Part II, Section 3(i) of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary dated 17.09.2025, the following changes are hereby made in Para 9(iv)(B)(d) regarding Tie-Breaking Principles:
