G Murugaiyan received m Pension Section for seeking 1nformat1on under the Right to Information Act. The copy of the letter is transferred to you for necessary action under the Right to Information Act, 2005. The information has to be provided directly to the applicant under intimation to the undersigned. If the desired information does not pertain to the concerned division or some part of information is held by other division or public authority, the concerned CPIO shall forward/transfer the application or such part of it as may be appropriate to relevant d1v1s1on/Public authorities u/s 5(4) and 6(3) of the RTI Act, 2005 respectively and inform the applicant 1mmcd1ately/about such transfer. However, if the CPIO is not able to find out as to which divis1on/publ1c authonty 1s concerned with the information even after making reasonable efforts to find out the concerned division/public authority to which the application could be transferred. It would, however, be the responsibility of the CPIO, if an appeal is made against his decision, to establish that he made reasonable efforts to find out the particulars of the concerned division/public authority. Pension.EDU Fvikl~@ct ~t): Information Sought ('511 crl cfi I .fl 1ITlfr}: 30-6-2018 From G.Murugaiyan Dear Sir Kindly provide the following informations under RTI act 2005. concerning the LIFE and LIBERTY of Senior Citizens and pensioners. at the earliest a) EPFO HQ directive No. P£D/Miscl2017/3224 dated 20/2592017 for treating RTls on pension matters as concerning Life & Liberty and to be disposed of within 48 hrs as per decision of CIC in CIC/BS/U 2016/001238 b) EPFO HQ no PID/HQ/Appeal/2017/945 dated 30-5-2017 advising that information relating to PF accounts is neither of Third party nor personal information and the time limit for providing the information must be strictly adhered as per decision of CJC in CIC/BS/A/2015/002064 DATED 22-03- 2017. .. - During 1995 the Government and EPFO advertised that the Better Pension Scheme is EPS 1995 pension scheme and with other benefits are also simultaneously introduced by replacing the EPF and MISC ACT 1952 and 1972 schemes. In this connection kindly provide the following information with relevant copies of documents. I. The D.A introduced through the scheme is abruptly stopped and reason is not circulated by £PFO to its members. 2. The reason to withdraw the DA and the correspondence letters in his connection may be provided. 3. At the time of introducing the EPS- 1995 scheme there was no such discrimination between pensioners From which date the concept of Exempted and Unexempted establishments identified I introduced and started using by the EPFO.Any orders / letters issued in this regard may be provided. 4 .. Whether the term Exempted and Unexempted is informed to the Honorable Supreme Court and in any other High Courts through EPFOs reply in the courts. If so kindly provide the copies of the documents. 5. Whether the newly recruited employees of Exempted organization were given chance to contribute full pensionable amount to EPS -95 pension scheme. 6. Which are the establishments requested the EPFO to contribute pensionable amount for full salary for its employees. Provide the list of such organization. lf the request was denied, the reason for this with the letters correspondence may provide 7. The assurance given by the EPFO for the commuted amount will be restored in pension on completion of I 00 months recovery. Whether the commuted amount has been restored on recovery completion of 100 months to the pensioners in time. If so the details and the list of such pensioners all over the country ,Region wise whose pension is revised to normal pension may be provided.
