Attention is invited to this office letter circulated vide No. U-16/30/130/2012-Procell/E-792399, Dated: 02-06-2026 (Copy attached) wherein Standard Specifications and Cost Estimation of Ophthalmic Operating Microscope Without Posterior Segment was issued for utilization by user institutions.
In this regard, it is informed that the duly constituted Technical Specification Committee has reviewed and recommended the following modifications/changes in the existing technical specifications:

Accordingly, all user Institutions are, therefore, advised to take note of the revised/amended specifications as summarized above and ensure that the same are duly referred while initiating procurement, preparing technical specifications, estimating the cost, processing procurement proposals, etc.
Further, rest of the instructions/ provisions issued vide U-16/30/130/2012-Procell/E-792399 02-06-2026, except to the extent modified/amended herein, shall remain unchanged.
This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
