The above officials shall not be considered for regular promotion for a period of one year from the date of refusal of promotion or till a next vacancy arises whichever is later and shall be dealt in terms of extant rules/instructions.
Refusal of promotion by the above officials to the post of Social Security Officer/ Manager Gr.II/ Superintendent in level-7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/-) shall have bearing on grant of Financial Upgradation under MACP Scheme, as per the extant rules/instructions.
The Controlling Authority has to ensure that refusal of promotion by the above officials is entered in the respective service book/records of the official. A certificate to that effect may be furnished to HQ office within 15 days of this order.
