What changed
The Employees State Insurance Corporation grants financial up-gradation under the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme to two officers. The Competent Authority approves the up-gradation based on the recommendations of the Screening Committee. The affected officers hold the designation of Assistant Executive Engineer. The Regional Director, Joint Director, or Deputy Director in charge must verify the service records of each officer before allowing the financial up-gradation. The officers must exercise the option of pay fixation within one month from the date of issue of the order.

Competent Authority, on the recommendations of the Screening Committee in the meeting held on $3^{\text{rd}}$ September 2025, has approved/ordered financial up-gradation under the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme in accordance with Govt. of India, DoP&T OM No.35034/3/2008-Estt.(D) dated 19.05.2019 and subsequent instructions issued by the DoP&T vide OMs no. 35034/3/2015-Estt.(D) dated 27/28.09.216, 22.10.2019, 23.03.2020 and 21.11.2022, to the following officers/officials in the ESI Corporation, on the dates and in the Pay Levels mentioned against their names:

Above financial up-gradation under the MACP Scheme shall, be subject to the terms and conditions mentioned in DoP&T OM No.35034/3/2015-Estt.(D) dated 22.10.2019 and further instructions/clarifications issued from time to time and circulated by Establishment Branch-III, Hqrs on the subject. Further, the cases of the officials holding a higher post on purely ad-hoc basis before the date of recommendation of financial up-gradation, if any, may be regulated as per para 25 of Annexure-I of DoP&T OM dated 22.10.2019.
On up-gradation under the MACP Scheme, pay of an employee shall be fixed as per para 4 to 7 of Annexure-I DoP&T OM dated 22.10.2019 and the officers/officials shall have to exercise the option of fixation of pay within one month from the date of issue of order, under the provisions of FR 22 (I)(a)(1). Before allowing the financial up-gradation as per the details above, the RD / JD / DD (I/c) may verify the details of each officer/official concerned from their service records. Discrepancy, if any, may be immediately brought to the notice of the Hqrs Office.
