The ESI Corporation approves the On Account Revised Estimate for financial year 2025-26 and Budget Estimate for financial year 2026-27. This approval is subject to Central Government approval. State ESI Schemes or Societies submit proposals for additional funds by 31st August 2026 through Regional Offices. State ESI Schemes or Societies receive 200 rupees per insured person per annum as an incentive if bed occupancy in State ESI Hospitals exceeds 70 percent. They also receive 20 rupees per insured person per annum for preventive and promotive health services.

Subject: ‘On Account’ payment – Revised Budget Estimate 2025-26 and Budget Estimate 2026-27.
ESI Corporation in its 197th meeting held on 11.12.2025 have approved 'On Account' Revised Estimate FY 2025-26 and Budget Estimate 2026-27. State/UT wise funds allocation are at Annexure A & B. This is subject to approval of Central Government.
Further, there is provisions for additional fund, over & above the budgetary allocation, within States/UTs overall entitlement. State ESI Scheme/Society may submit a proposal with justification and details of expenditure & utilisation certificate for the purpose of revised budgetary provisions FY 2026- 27 by 31st August, 2026 through & with the recommendations Regional Offices concerned only.
Apart from the above, State ESI Schemes/Societies are also entitled to the following, for which a separate sanction will be issued by Headquarters in respect of the claimant only:
