आदेश/Order

Subject: Adherence to NABL scope of accreditation for testing of referral samples-reg.

विषय: रेफरल नमूनों के परीक्षण के लिए एनएबीएल की मान्यता के दायरे का पालन- संबंधी।

With reference to above subject, as per clause 9.1(a) of Food Safety and Standards (Recognition and Notification of Laboratories) Regulations, 2018 "Food laboratory shall perform all tests in the approved premises as per the valid scope of recognition".

All the referral laboratories must strictly adhere to their NABL scope of accreditation as per ISO 17025, while testing referral samples. The laboratories shall test food products and parameters explicitly covered under their NABL scope of accreditation to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

In this regard, all the FSSAI notified referral laboratories under 43(2) of FSS Act, 2006 are also hereby informed and instructed to test only the test parameters specified by the Designated Officers (DOs)/ Authorised Officers (AOs) in Form VIA.
