Office Order

Subject: Appointment of Designated Officer for Central Licensing for Airports at four metro cities under Section 36 of FSS Act, 2006 –reg.

In pursuance of Section 36 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, read with Section 1.2.1 (1) of Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulations 2011, the under-mentioned officers are hereby appointed as Designated Officers under Central Licensing of Airports for the area of Jurisdiction mentioned against their names, in addition to the existing area of jurisdictions of these officers, until further orders:

2. The Designated Officer, so appointed shall perform the functions of the Central Licensing Authority in accordance with the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulations, 2011. This supersedes all earlier orders in this regard to the above jurisdiction.
