Insurance broking companies must review and correct data submitted through the Business Analytics Project module to match statutory returns. The Authority notes that data submitted through the module often fails to tally with the balance sheet, profit and loss account, and cash flow statement. Brokers must report any discrepancies by email with complete details and reasons. Compliance is required within thirty days. The Authority directs all insurance brokers to file necessary returns immediately and warns that late filing or incorrect data submission will be viewed seriously.

विषय : बिजनेस एनालिटिक्स प्रोजेक्ट मॉड्यूल (बीपी मॉड्यूल) में उचित आँकड़े दाखिल करना। Sub: Filing of appropriate data in the Business Analytics Project module (BAP module).
प्राधिकरण आपका ध्यान परिपत्र संख्या. आईआरडीए / ब्रोकर / एमआईएससी / सीसीआईआर / 232/10/2014 दिनांकित 21 अक्टूबर, 2014 की ओर आकर्षित करता है जो बिजनेस एनालिटिक्स प्रोजेक्ट मॉड्यूल (बीपी मॉड्यूल) के माध्यम से रिटर्न दाखिल करने के लिए है।
यह देखा गया है कि बीपी मॉड्यूल के माध्यम से जमा किए गए कुछ बीमा ब्रोकरों के आँकड़े, वैधानिक रिटर्न के साथ मेल नहीं खा रहे हैं, जैसे प्राधिकरण को प्रस्तुत बैलेंस शीट, लाभ-हानि लेखा, नक्की प्रवाह विवरण आदि।
इसे देखते हुए, प्राधिकरण आपको बीपी मॉड्यूल के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत किए गए विवरण के पुनलोकल और पुनरीक्षण की सलाह देता है। किसी भी विसंगति की स्थिति में, आप कारण सहित पूर्ण विवरण को सुधार हेतु BROKERS@IRDA.GOV.IN को ई-मेल लिख सकते हैं।
कृपया अगले 30 दिनों में प्राधिकरण की सलाह का अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करें।
इसके अलावा, प्राधिकरण सभी बीमा दलालों को तत्काल बीपी में आवश्यक रिटर्न दाखिल करने की सलाह देता है। इसके आगे, ऑनलाइन रिटर्न को दाखिल करने में विलम्ब और बीपी में गलत आँकड़ों की प्रस्तुति को गंभीरता से लिया जाएगा।
The Authority draws your kind attention at circular No. IRDA/BROKER/MISC/CIR/232/10/2014 dated 21st October, 2014 for Filing of returns through Business Analytics Project module (BAP module).
It has been observed that the data of some of the insurance brokers, submitted through BAP module, are not tallying with the statutory returns, viz. Balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow statement etc., submitted to the Authority.
In view of this, the Authority advises you to revisit and recheck the returns submitted through BAP module. In case of any discrepancy, you can write an e-mail at BROKERS@IRDA.GOV.IN for making correction with complete details of the same along with reasons.
Kindly ensure compliance of the Authority's advice over the next 30 days.
Further, the Authority advises all the insurance brokers to file necessary returns in BAP immediately. Going forward, the late filing of online returns and incorrect data submission in BAP will be viewed seriously.
