प्राधिकरण ने पुनर्बीमा परिचालनों के लिए विनियामक ढांचे को मजबूत और सुमेलित करने के उद्देश्य से भारतीय बीमा विनियामक और विकास प्राधिकरण (विदेशी पुनर्बीमाकर्ताओं की शाखाओं और लायड्स इंडिया का पंजीकरण और परिचालन) विनियम, 2024 और आईआरडीए (पुनर्बीमा) विनियम, 2018 अधिसूचित किये हैं। आईआरडीए अधिनियम, 1999 की धारा 14, बीमा अधिनियम, 1938 की धारा 34 और आईआरडीएआई (विदेशी पुनर्बीमाकर्ताओं की शाखाओं और लायड्स इंडिया का पंजीकरण और परिचालन) विनियम, 2024 के विनियम 33 तथा आईआरडीएआई (पुनर्बीमा) विनियम, 2018 के विनियम 12 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, प्राधिकरण इसके द्वारा विभिन्न अपेक्षाओं और फार्मों को विनिर्दिष्ट करने और उपर्युक्त विनियमों के विभिन्न उपबंधों के संबंध में निदेश/दिशानिर्देश उपलब्ध कराने के लिए यह मास्टर परिपत्र जारी करता है।
The Authority has notified Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Registration and Operations of Foreign Reinsurers Branches and Lloyd’s India) Regulations, 2024 and IRDAI (Reinsurance) Regulations, 2018, with the objective of strengthening and harmonizing the regulatory framework for reinsurance operations. In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the IRDA Act, 1999, section 34 of the Insurance Act, 1938 and Regulation 33 of IRDAI (Registration and Operations of Foreign Reinsurers Branches and Lloyd’s India) Regulations, 2024 and Regulation 12 of IRDAI (Reinsurance) Regulations, 2018, the Authority hereby issues this Master Circular to specify various requirements and forms and to provide directions/guidelines on various provisions of the said Regulations.
यह मास्टर परिपत्र सभी बीमाकर्ताओं, पुनर्बीमाकर्ताओं, विदेशी पुनर्बीमाकर्ताओं की शाखाओं और लायड्स इंडिया के लिए लागू है। This Master Circular is applicable to all Insurers, Reinsurers, Foreign Reinsurers Branches and Lloyd’s India.
यह मास्टर परिपत्र इसके निर्गम की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होगा। This Master circular shall come into force from the date of its issuance.
इसे सक्षम प्राधिकारी का अनुमोदन प्राप्त है। This has approval of the Competent Authority.
