हैदराबाद, 15 जून, 2026
फा. सं. भा.बी.वि.वि.प्रा./आरआई/5/219/2026.—बीमा अधिनियम, 1938 की धारा 101ए की उप-धारा (2) एवं (4) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, प्राधिकरण, बीमा अधिनियम, 1938 की धारा 101बी के तहत गठित सलाहकार समिति के साथ परामर्श करने के बाद और केंद्र सरकार की पूर्व-अनुमोदन के साथ, एतद्द्वारा "वित्तीय वर्ष 2026-27 के लिए अनिवार्य अध्यर्पण" सम्बंधी जारी अधिसूचना फा. सं. भा.बी.वि.वि.प्रा./आरआई/3/217/2026 दिनांक 9 अप्रैल, 2026 के पैरा संख्या 2 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करता है।
विद्यमान पैरा संख्या 2 के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात् :
अध्यर्पण का प्रतिशत: भारतीय पुनर्बीमाकर्ता(ओं) के पास पुनर्बीमा की जानेवाली प्रत्येक साधारण बीमा पॉलिसी पर बीमित राशि का प्रतिशत अध्यर्पण 1 अप्रैल, 2026 से प्रारंभ होने वाले 31 मार्च, 2027 तक के वित्तीय वर्ष के संबद्ध किये जानेवाले बीमे के संबंध में 4% (चार प्रतिशत) होगा। आतंकवाद पूल, नाभिकीय समूह (न्यूक्लियर पूल) तथा भारत समुद्री बीमा पूल को अध्यर्पित प्रीमियम इसके अपवाद होंगे, जिनमें यह 'शून्य' किया जाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
Hyderabad, the 15th June, 2026
F. No. IRDAI/RI/5/219/2026.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (2) and (4) of the Section 101A of the Insurance Act, 1938, the Authority, after consultation with the Advisory Committee, constituted under section 101B of the Insurance Act, 1938 and with the previous approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following amendment to the para No.2 of Notification F. No. IRDAI/RI/3/217/2026 dated 9th April, 2026 issued on “Obligatory Cession for the financial year 2026-27”.
For the existing Para No.2, the following shall be substituted, namely:
Percentage of Cession: The percentage cession of the sum insured on each General Insurance Policy to be reinsured with the Indian Re-insurer(s) shall be 4% (four percent) in respect of insurance attaching during the financial year beginning from 1st April, 2026 to 31st March, 2027, except the premium ceded to Terrorism pool, Nuclear pool and Bharat Maritime Insurance Pool wherein it would be made ‘NIL’.
The entire Obligatory Cession is to be placed with General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) only.
