Circular Ref. No: 54/2026

All Members,

Sub: Colocation Update - Bulk upload facility for IP Message Rate Change requests.

This is in continuation to Exchange consolidated circular NSE/MSD/73958 dated April 29, 2026, for matters related Colocation.

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance member experience and operational efficiency, the Exchange regularly reviews and upgrades its services. Currently, members desirous of modifying the message category of their colocation IPs are required to submit requests individually for each IP address via the ENIT system. This process, while accurate, can be time-intensive—particularly for members managing multiple IPs.

In continuation of our efforts to streamline operations, we are pleased to introduce a Bulk Upload Facility for submitting Message Rate Change requests (upgrade/ downgrade) for Colocation IPs, in addition to the existing individual submission option.

Members are requested to note the following key points in this regard:

  1. The bulk upload template is available for download via ENIT on the following path: ENIT-NEW-TRADE > Membership > Colocation > Colocation Request Bulk Upload
  2. Members must ensure that all fields in the template, including IP Address, Rack Number, Current Message Rate, and other required details are accurately filled.
  3. Requests for Maximum of 100 IP records shall be allowed per file upload.
  4. Ensure the upload file contains no duplicate IP records.
  5. Ensure that the proposed segment-wise message bifurcation is exactly equal to the New Message Rate specified for the IP.
  6. Ensure that in case user ids are mapped with the IP (as Primary / Multilocked) in a segment; the message rate is not specified as “0” for the segment.
  7. The file will be processed only if all the records of the file are valid and error-free. File uploaded with invalid entries will be rejected and request reference number will not be generated for any of the IP’s included in the file.
  8. In case of file being rejected, the system will generate an error file highlighting the problematic rows along with relevant remarks for rectification at member end. This file will be available at the same ENIT path for reference.

  1. While the facility shall be available to all the ENIT users at member end; please note only one ENIT user shall be able to upload the bulk file at any given time to avoid conflicts or data inconsistency.
  2. The cutoff time for processing Message Rate Change requests (upgrade/downgrade) remains unchanged.
  3. Requests submitted on or before 3:00 p.m. on a working day will be processed on a best-effort basis, with completion expected within T+5 working days.
  4. The first Message Rate Change request per Colocation IP in a calendar month shall be free of charge, irrespective of the request status (approved, pending, or rejected).
  5. For subsequent requests for the same IP in the same calendar month, a Processing Fee of ₹2,000/- (plus applicable taxes) shall continue to be applicable.
  6. The other colocation or message-related offerings shall remain unchanged.

This circular shall be effective from start of business hours of August 03, 2026.

All other existing terms and conditions as specified in the colocation consolidated circular reference no. NSE/MSD/73958 dated April 29, 2026, remain unchanged.
