The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has introduced a new 'Category I' leased line connectivity option specifically for members accessing the Commodity Derivatives Segment. This category supports a larger pool of child IPs, allowing members to consolidate network architecture and reduce connectivity costs. Members can opt for either Managed Service or Self-Service models. Each parent IP provides 120 messages per second, with the option to add up to 119 child IPs at no additional cost. An annual recovery charge of Rs 2,000 plus taxes applies per parent IP. Applications for this category and additional child IPs must be submitted through the ENIT portal. This functionality becomes available starting from the beginning of the day on August 3, 2026.
