Check the official recordThe Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority has introduced an option for subscribers under the NPS All Citizen Model (Tier-I), NPS Corporate Model (Tier-I), and all NPS Tier-II subscribers to select up to three different Pension Funds. This facility is restricted to the Active Choice asset allocation mode and excludes the Alternate Asset Class (Scheme A). Existing subscribers may utilize this option immediately. For new subscribers within the specified categories, the option becomes applicable three months after their registration into the National Pension System.

CIRCULAR
To Stakeholders under NPS.
SUBJECT: Option for subscribers under NPS All Citizen Model (Tier-I), NPS Corporate Model (Tier-I) and NPS Tier-II (all subscribers) of selection of multiple Pension Funds in accordance with the asset classes (except Alternate Asset Class or Scheme A)
With the objective to further facilitate NPS subscribers with ‘choice of multiple pension funds and multiple schemes’, an additional option of Pension Fund(s) selection/choice is being made available as under:-
(i) The facility of selection of multiple (maximum of 03) Pension Funds (PF) in accordance with the asset classes (except Alternate Asset Class or Scheme A) is available to the existing subscribers under NPS All Citizen Model (Tier-I), NPS Corporate Model (Tier-I) and Tier-II (all subscribers).
(ii) For new subscribers (aforesaid category), this option shall be applicable three months after their registration into NPS.
(iii) This facility is available under the Active Choice (asset allocation) mode only.

विषय : एनपीएस सर्व नागरिक मॉडल (टियर-1), एनपीएस कॉर्पोरेट मॉडल (टियर-1) तथा एनपीएस टियर-2 (सभी अभिदाता) के तहत अभिदाताओं के लिए (वैकल्पिक आस्ति वर्ग अथवा योजना ए को छोड़कर) अन्य आस्ति वर्गों के अनुसार विभिन्न पेंशन निधियों को चुनने हेतु विकल्प
एनपीएस अभिदाताओं को 'विभिन्न पेंशन निधियों तथा विभिन्न योजनाओं के चयन' की सुविधा प्रदान करने हेतु पेंशन निधि(यों) के चयन/चुनाव में एक अतिरिक्त विकल्प को निम्नानुसार उपलब्ध कराया गया है :-
(i) एनपीएस सर्व नागरिक मॉडल (टियर-1), एनपीएस कॉर्पोरेट मॉडल (टियर-1) तथा टियर-2 (सभी अभिदाता) के तहत मौजूदा अभिदाताओं के लिए (वैकल्पिक आस्ति वर्ग अथवा योजना ए को छोड़कर) अन्य आस्ति वर्गों के अनुसार विभिन्न (अधिकतम 03) पेंशन निधियों (पीएफ) को चुनने की सुविधा उपलब्ध है।
(ii) नए अभिदाताओं (उपर्युक्त श्रेणी) के लिए, एनपीएस में उनके पंजीकरण के तीन महीनों के पश्चात् यह विकल्प लागू होगा।
(iii) यह सुविधा केवल सक्रिय चयन (आस्ति आवंटन) मोड के तहत उपलब्ध है।
