BSE updates 21-27 September 2026: Emami buyback and TRAI rules

Emami Limited will buy back fully paid equity shares on the exchange from 22 September to 29 December 2026, or earlier if the size is completed or the board decides. The cap is Rs 475 a share and Rs 28,200 lakh in total, with IIFL Capital Services Limited as broker and manager.

Research analysts and investment advisers must integrate with the DoT Mobile Number Revocation List, use the 1600 series only for service and transactional calls, and pre-tag variable fields in SMS templates. Investment advisers must also run consumer awareness on the 1600 and 140 numbering series.

BSE issued fresh GSM, ESM, and ASM lists, put GSM Stage I on a 100 percent margin and a 5 percent band from 22 September, and revised price bands on 17 scrips from the same day. From 23 September, ESM entrants draw 100 percent margin and shift to trade-for-trade, and short-term ASM Stage I is 50 percent or the existing margin, whichever is higher, capped at 100 percent, with Stage II at 100 percent.

BSE Clearing published the October 2026 EGR trading and settlement programme for settlements DR-133/2026-2027 through DR-153/2026-2027. Members must send pay-in instructions by 3:00 p.m. on the pay-in date, and pay-out of funds and securities is by 4:00 p.m.

Demat auctions 718 and 719 took offers in the afternoon session. Auction 718 pay-in was at 8:00 a.m. the next morning.

BSE issued non-competitive bidding notices for the state government securities auction on 22 September and for dated government securities on 25 September.
