सा.का.जन. 902(अ).— केंद्रीय सरकार, राज्यक्षेत्रीय सागर-खंड, महाद्वीपीय मग्नतट भूमम, अनन्य आर्थिक क्षेत्र और
अन्य सामुद्रद्रक क्षेत्र अमिमनयम, 1976 (1976 का 80) की िारा 6 की उप-िारा (6) के खंड (क) और िारा 7 की उप-िारा
(7) के खंड (क) द्वारा प्रदत्त शमियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, मनम्नमिमखत प्रयोजन के मिए, राजपत्र में इस अमिसूचना के प्रकाशन
की तारीख से, सीमाशुल्क अमिमनयम, 1962 (1962 का 52) और सीमाशुल्क टैररफ अमिमनयम, 1975 (1975 का 51)
को भारत की महाद्वीपीय मग्नतट भूमम और भारत के अनन्य आर्थिक क्षेत्र तक मिस्ताररत करती है, अथाित् :-
(क)
भारत की महाद्वीपीय मग्नतट भूमम या भारत के अनन्य आर्थिक क्षेत्र (ईईजेड) में अपतट क्षेत्र खमनज (मिकास और
मिमनयमन) अमिमनयम, 2002 (2003 का 17) के अिीन प्रदत्त संद्रिया संबंिी अमिकारों के अिीन खमनजों का
आिीक्षण, खोज या उत्पादन, और;
(ख)
खंड (क) में उमल्िमखत द्रकसी भी कायिकिाप के संबंि में द्रकन्हीं िस्तुओं की आपूर्ति।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th December, 2025
G.S.R. 902(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 6 and clause
(a) of sub-section (7) of section 7 of the Territorial Waters, Continental Shelf, Exclusive Economic Zone and other
Maritime Zones Act, 1976 (80 of 1976), the Central Government hereby extends the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962)
and Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) to the continental shelf of India and the exclusive economic zone of India
with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, for the following purpose, namely:—
(a)
the reconnaissance, exploration or production of minerals under operating rights granted under the
Offshore Areas Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 2002 (17 of 2003) in the continental shelf
of India or the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) of India, and;
(b)
the supply of any goods in connection with any of the activities mentioned in clause(a).
