The Central Government amends the Legal Metrology (General) Rules, 2011 to set a period of twenty-four months for specific weights and measures. सा.का.नि. 905(अ).—केंद्रीय सरकार, विधिक मापविज्ञान अधिनियम, 2009 (2010 का 1) की धारा 52 की उपधारा (2) के खंड (ग), खंड (च), खंड (ज), खंड (झ) और खंड (ध) के साथ पठित उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, विधिक मापविज्ञान (साधारण) नियम, 2011 का और संशोधन करने के लिए, निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
(2) ये राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
"(क) सभी बाटों, धारिता मापों, लंबाई के माप, टेप, बीम स्केल, काउंटर मशीन और ईंधन डिस्पेंसर (पेट्रोल और डीजल) के लिए चौबीस महीने"।

New Delhi, the 18th December, 2025
G.S.R. 905(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clauses (c), (f), (h), (i) and (s) of sub-section (2) of section 52 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (1 of 2010), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Legal Metrology (General) Rules, 2011, namely:–
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
"(a) twenty-four months for all weights, capacity measures, length measures, tape, beam scale, counter machine and fuel dispensers (petrol and diesel),".
