सा.का.जि. 905(अ).—केंद्रीय सरकार, जर्जधक मापजर्ज्ञाि अजधजियम, 2009 (2010 का 1) की धारा 52
की उपधारा (2) के खंड (ग), खंड (च), खंड (ि), खंड (झ) और खंड (ध) के साथ पठित उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रित् त
िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , जर्जधक मापजर्ज्ञाि (साधारण) जियम, 2011 का और संिोधि करिे के जलए,
जिम्नजलजखत जियम बिाती है, अथावत्:-
1. (1) इि जियमों का िाम जर्जधक मापजर्ज्ञाि (साधारण) सातर्ााँ संिोधि जियम, 2025 है।
(2) ये रािपत्र में इिके प्रकािि की तारीख को प्रर्ृत होंगे।
2. जर्जधक मापजर्ज्ञाि (साधारण) जियम, 2011 के, जियम 27 के, उप-जियम (2) के, खंड (क) के स्ट्थाि पर
जिम्नजलजखत खंड रखा िाएगा, अथावत्: -
"(क) सभी बाटों, धाठरता मापों, लंबाई के माप, टेप, बीम स्ट्केल, काउंटर मिीि और ईंधि जडस्ट्पेंसर (पेरोल और
डीिल) के जलए चौबीस महीिे"।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th December, 2025
G.S.R. 905(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clauses (c), (f), (h), (i) and
(s) of sub-section (2) of section 52 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (1 of 2010), the Central Government hereby
makes the following rules further to amend the Legal Metrology (General) Rules, 2011, namely:–
1 (1) These rules may be called the Legal Metrology (General) Seventh Amendment Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Legal Metrology (General) Rules, 2011, in rule 27, in sub-rule (2), for clause (a), the following clause
shall be substituted, namely:-
"(a) twenty-four months for all weights, capacity measures, length measures, tape, beam scale, counter machine and
fuel dispensers (petrol and diesel),".
