The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation revises the financial powers for the budget head Advertisement and Publicity. This change follows the decision of the Central Board of Trustees in its 239th meeting. The revised delegation applies to the Executive Committee of the Central Board of Trustees, the Central Provident Fund Commissioner, and other designated officers. Officials must exercise these powers in consultation with the Internal Finance division. All expenditures must remain within budget provisions and follow General Financial Rules. Agencies must perform work through empanelled agencies of the Central Bureau of Communication at approved rates. Officers cannot re-delegate these powers to subordinate staff. Existing financial powers for other budget heads remain unchanged.

Madam/Sir,
In exercise of the powers vested in the Central Board of Trustees, EPF vide Section 4(5) of the Code on social Security, 2020, the Central Board in its 239th meeting held on 02nd March 2026 (Item No. 10) was pleased to revise the delegation of financial powers under budget head "Advertisement/ publicity" to the Executive Committee of CBT, the Central Provident Fund Commissioner (CPFC) and other officers of the CBT.

The above financial powers shall be exercise in consultation with the Internal Finance and within budget provisions following GFR provisions.
All works by the agencies be carried out through empanelled agencies of DAVP/ CBC at DAVP rates.
The existing financial powers under remaining heads/ items in the Schedule of Administrative & Financial Powers will continue without any change, till further orders.
The powers delegated hereunder shall not be re-delegated to any other subordinate officer.
