Sir/Madam,     As per OM no. D-12/16/1/2017-E-VI-Vol.I dated 28.11.2018 regarding ESIC PMS, 2006 - Removal of difficulties – the time-lines are issued for pensioners/ family pensioners covered under ESIC PMS, 2006 which states that the pensioners/ family pensioners enrolled under ESIC-PMS, 2006 shall submit the medical claims to the concerned Nodal Officer. If found reimbursable, the payment shall be completed within 30 days of submission of the medical claims.   However, in recent months, various complaints have been received from the pensioners regarding the delay in payments.   Hence, all the nodal officers are instructed to clear the medical claims within the stipulated time limit as mentioned in above circular.   This issues with the approval of competent authority.
