The Employees' State Insurance Corporation reorganizes the recruitment process and work allocation for administrative cadres with immediate effect. The Recruitment Division now manages all direct recruitments for Group A and Group B gazetted posts that require consultation with the Union Public Service Commission. The E.I branch continues to calculate vacancies for administrative cadres and forwards them to the Recruitment Division. The Recruitment Division also manages all administrative post recruitments through the deputation mode. The Insurance Commissioner (Rectt) manages recruitment processes requiring Union Public Service Commission consultation. The Additional Commissioner (Rectt) manages recruitment for posts that do not require such consultation. Both officers report directly to the Director General.

- The Insurance Commissioner (Rectt) and Additional Commissioner (Rectt) must report and submit files directly to the Director General.

The Competent Authority, with a view to streamline the recruitment process i.e. through Direct Recruitment mode and Deputation mode, has approved the following proposals, with immediate effect:
- All Direct Recruitments [Gr-A/B(Gazetted)], where consultation with UPSC is required, presently being dealt by E.I branch, will be dealt by Recruitment Division.
- Vacancy calculations in respect of all the administrative cadres shall continue to be done by E.I branch and be forwarded to Recruitment Division for further necessary action.
- All the recruitments (Administrative post) through Deputation mode will be dealt be Recruitment Division.
Accordingly, work allocation amongst the IC(rectt) and AC(Rectt) has been approved as under:
- Sh. Uttam Prakash, Insurance Commissioner (Rectt) will look after Recruitment process where consultation with UPSC is required.
- Sh. Ravi Prakash, Additional Commissioner (Rectt) will look after Recruitment for all the posts where consultation with UPSC is NOT required.
Sh. Uttam Prakash, IC (Rectt) and Sh. Ravi Prakash, AC (Rectt) shall report and submit their files directly to the Director General for his consideration.
