Policy for procurement of IT Hardware for ESI Location Letter dated 31.07.2024 Madam/Sir,     With reference to Hqrs. letters of even number dated 11.07.2024 and 31.07.2024, the technical specifications of AIO, Laptop, Mono MFP/Printer, and Online/Line-Interactive UPS stands revised as per the attached Annexure-A. 2.  All field units are required to adhere to these specifications when procuring the listed items in case there is urgency [Equipment to be procured should be less than 20]. 3.  If any deviations are necessary due to specific circumstances, the proposed alternative specifications must be submitted to the ICT Division for review and approval. 4.    Field units that have already initiated procurement based on previously issued specifications, and where financial bids have been opened but order not placed, may proceed with the procurement after approval from ICT, HQ. 5.  For regular purchase and removal of obsolescence, the designated Head of Office to submit the requirement of PC, Laptop and Printers with proper justification and send to it.proc@esic.gov.in. ICT HQ will process and make the equipment available. 6.    All asset entries [details of equipment - make, model, serial #, date of I-11013/4/2021-ICT I/2926999/2025 purchase, cost, warranty details, AMC details, and installation report] to be made by the respective offices. The SoP for the same is also being issued. 7.  All other contents of the above referred letter(s) remain unchanged. This issues with the approval of Director General. OEM logo should be embossed on Monitor, Keyboard & Mouse etc. (No sticker) 6) The exact quoted model must be available on the OEM Website with data sheet of the quoted model. 7) OEM should also paste an Asset Tag label with mentioned serial, machine address, warranty expiry date & tech support contact number. 27. Additional Specifications a) The exact quoted model must be available on the OEM Website with the Data Sheet of the Quoted Model b) Depart BIOS Logo must flash on during the Boot-up process c) Desktop, Monitor, Keyboard and mouse must be of the same OEM and should have the OEM logo embossed. d) OEM should paste a Asset Tag mentioning the serial number, machine address, warranty expiry date and tech support contact details e) OEM must have online diagnostic facility. 28.
