4. Dean, all ESIC Medical/Dental Colleges and Hospitals Subject: Amendment to the policy for procurement of Laptop for ESIC officials. Reference:  I-11013/4/2021-ICT(E323) dated 11-11-2024 Please refer to the instruction issued on the subject cited vide letter No. I-11013/4/2021-ICT(E323) dated 11-11-2024. It is informed that competent authority has approved to include the Principal Private Secretaries posted at ESIC HQ amongst the list of eligible officials for procurement of Laptop. Accordingly, the following entry is inserted at S No 1.1 (Non Medical Posts) of the aforesaid instruction dated 11-11-2024.

Further, it is clarified that in the exigencies of transfer of PPS from HQ to any other office, the issue relating to retention of the Laptop provided to them shall be regulated as per Para 8(c) of the instruction dated 11-11-2024. This issues with the approval of competent authority with concurrence of F&A. Yours faithfully,
