The ESI Corporation reviews the revenue recovery performance for the period from April 2026 to June 2026. Regional offices achieved only 42.76 percent of the proportionate revenue recovery target for the 2026-27 financial year. The authority views this performance as poor. Regional Directors, Joint Directors, and Deputy Directors must monitor the recovery process personally. They must instruct Recovery Officers to increase recovery efforts to meet annual targets. Regional offices must provide Recovery Officers with necessary manpower and logistic support. Insurance Commissioners for all zones must monitor their respective regions to ensure target achievement. The authority requires that offices treat this matter with top priority.

Subject: Review of the monthly progress report upto June 2026.
Please refer to this office letter No. Q-11/24/Audit/2006/RRC dated 05.06.2026 regarding fixation of revenue recovery target for the year 2026-27. The revenue recovery position for the period April 2026 to June 2026 has been reviewed at Hqrs. Office and it has been observed that only 42.76 % of the proportionate revenue recovery target fixed achieved for the financial year 2026-27 which is very poor and it has been viewed very seriously by the higher authority.
In view of the under performance of the revenue recovery, The RD/JD I/c/DD I/c is advised to look into the matter personally and advise Recovery Officer to gear up the recovery machinery to achieve the annual recovery target on time.
The Recovery Officer may also be provided with required man power and logistic support so that desired revenue recovery target is achieved in your region.
This should be accorded “Top Priority”. This issues with the approval of Insurance Commissioner (Revenue).
