The Director General of the Employees State Insurance Corporation approves the revised manpower sanction for ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Joka, West Bengal. This revision covers six hundred commissioned beds and fifty intensive care unit beds under the ESIC Human Resources Norm 2023 and National Medical Commission requirements, and it supersedes all earlier sanctions. The Dean and the Medical Superintendent must procure all outsourced services through the Government e-Marketplace only. They must hire contractual and outsourced staff based on actual requirements and bed occupancy up to the specified upper ceiling with local finance concurrence.
