Subject: Under performance in Revenue Income Target Achievement (up to August 2025)
This is with reference to the monthly analysis of revenue performance for the month of August 2025, as per the directives outlined in HQ letter no. Q-11/20/2/2012/Rev-I dated 25.06.2025, pertaining to the revenue income target of ₹22,600 Crore for FY 2025-26.
The analysis has highlighted a continuing trend of underachievement across several regions, with many falling below 90% of the progressive target for the period. This persistent shortfall is a significant concern. Given the critical nature of meeting the overall revenue target, immediate corrective actions must be taken to address this performance gap. It is essential that every possible effort be made to improve the revenue income to align with the set targets.
A large no. of C18 Actual/ C19/ C19I/ D19/ 45A/ etc. are lying pending with each region. Priority may be given to big units or large amount is involved and also the units where the limitation period is likely to be over.
EPFO Master data with their ECR may be procured from EPFO and then analysed to identify units with 10 or more person in ECR but not found covered in ESIC. Necessary action be initiated to brought such unit under the ambit of ESI Act specially during the period of SPREE as per the instructions issued in this regard.
The utmost priority and immediate intervention of the head of offices is needed matter to ensure the Revenue targets are met by all the regions.
This issue with the approval of the Competent Authority.
Yours faithfully,
