The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority amends the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Meetings) Regulations, 2000 to change meeting frequency rules. The Authority holds meetings as often as necessary and at least four times in a calendar year to transact its business. These regulations come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

बीमा विनियामक और विकास प्राधिकरण अधिसूचना हैदराबाद, 21 अक्तूबर , 2013 बीमा विनियामक और विकास प्राधिकरण ( बैठक ) ( पहला संशोधन ) विनियम, 2013
फा. सं. बी.वि.वि.प्रा./विनियम/23/81/2013.—बीमा विनियामक और विकास प्राधिकरण अधिनियम, 1999 (1999 का 41), की धारा 25 के साथ पठित धारा 26 की उप-धारा (2) के खंड (ङ) और उप-धारा (1)द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए प्राधिकरण बीमा सलाहकार समिति के साथ परामर्श करने के बाद एतद्द्वारा निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाता है, अर्थात् : —
(2) ये सरकारी राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
वर्तमान विनियम 3 (2) के लिए निम्नलिखित को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा :—
“3 (2) प्राधिकरण अपने कार्य-संपादन के लिए अपनी बैठक प्रायः आवश्यकता के अनुसार, परंतु एक कैलेंडर वर्ष में कम से कम चार बार आयोजित करेगा।”

INSURANCE REGULATORY AND DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY NOTIFICATION Hyderabad, the 21st October, 2013 Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (Meetings) (Frist Amendment), Regulations, 2013
F. No. IRDA/Reg./23/81/2013.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of sub-section (2) and sub-section (1) of Section 26, read with Section 25 of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999), the Authority, in consultation with the Insurance Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Meetings) Regulation, 2000, namely :—
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
For the existing Regulation 3 (2), the following shall be substituted:—
"3 (2) The Authority shall meet, as often as may be necessary but not less than four times in a calendar year, to transact its business "
