NSE updates 26 October-1 November 2026: Tender offer clearing

NSE introduced clearing corporation interoperability for tender offers used in takeovers, buybacks and delisting. NSE Clearing's implementation is on or after 27 November 2026.

Annual return submissions for FY 2025-26 were extended to 31 December 2026 for trading and clearing members. Digital accessibility compliance was extended to 31 January 2027; NSE also circulated common inspection deficiencies for members to review.

Daily ASM, ST-ASM and ESM notices changed security-level surveillance, margins and settlement treatment; separate notices updated encumbrance measures and the IBC framework. Intermediaries also received updated UNSC sanctions lists for account screening.

NSE scheduled 31 October disaster recovery mock sessions across trading segments, eIPO and eOFS. These notices let members test connectivity and failover before live trading resumed.

Futures and options on six additional stocks became available on 28 October; Polycab's January 2027 contracts return on 2 November after NCLAT set aside its IBC order. Members also received revised ETF cross-margin eligibility, SLBS securities and limits, and index quantity freeze limits.

For the 8 November Muhurat session, only UCCs marked compliant by 22:00 on 7 November may trade. NSE Clearing issued a separate client collateral reporting schedule; Jindal Photo's delisting bidding and settlement notices cover the 2-6 November offer window.

Bhavcopy's FO and commodity API broadcast change moves to 23 November, while legacy Extranet and NNF Bhavcopy retirement moves to 9 January 2027. The separate SME call-auction market-making file starts on 16 November; the stock-only client position limit file change is deferred to 7 December.
