The Central Government notifies August 1, 2025, as the date for the Chairman, Vice-Chairman or Member to cease holding office. This rule applies to the members of the Customs and Central Excise Settlement Commission under the Customs and Central Excise Settlement Commission (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairmen and Members) Rules, 2015.

सा.का.नि. 518(अ).— संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परंतुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा दिनांक 1 अगस्त 2025 को उस तिथि के रूप में अधिसूचित करती है, जिससे अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष या सदस्य सीमा शुल्क और केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क समझौता आयोग (अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष और सदस्यों की भर्ती और सेवाशर्त) संशोधन नियमावली, 2025 के नियम-7 के तीसरे परंतुक में दिए गए प्रावधान के अनुसार पद धारण करना बंद कर देंगे।

G.S.R. 518(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the Central Government hereby notifies the 1st August, 2025 as the date from which the Chairman, Vice-Chairman or Member shall cease to hold office as provided in third proviso to rule 7 of the Customs and Central Excise Settlement Commission (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairmen and Members) Rules, 2015.
