To ensure effective administrative supervision, these officers are required to attend their assigned Hospital or Medical College for at least two days per week, excluding Saturdays, subject to administrative requirements. Medical Superintendents, Deans, and Heads of Offices are responsible for maintaining attendance records and submitting monthly reports to the Headquarters starting from July 2026. Failure to comply with these attendance requirements will be reported to the Headquarters, which may initiate appropriate administrative action against the non-compliant officers.

Subject: Attendance of Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Administrative Officers Holding Additional Charge at Hospitals/ Medical Colleges - reg.
A number of Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Administrative Officers from various field units have been assigned additional work/charge at Hospitals/ Medical Colleges.
In order to ensure effective administrative supervision and smooth functioning of the Hospitals and Medical Colleges, the following instructions are issued with the approval of the Competent Authority:
All Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Administrative Officers who have been assigned additional work/charge at any Hospital/ Medical College, in addition to their regular duties, shall attend the concerned Hospital for at least two (02) days in a week (excluding Saturdays), subject to administrative requirements.
The concerned Medical Superintendent/ Dean/ Head of Office shall maintain attendance records of such officers and ensure compliance with the above instructions.
The concerned MS/ Dean/ Head of Office shall submit a monthly attendance report, commencing from July, 2026, to Headquarters in respect of officers holding additional charge in their respective Hospitals/ Medical Colleges.
Any instance of non-compliance or failure to attend the Hospital/ Medical College as stipulated above shall be brought to the notice of Headquarters immediately. Appropriate administrative action, as deemed fit, may be initiated at the Headquarters level against the non compliant officer(s).
