Open source pageF.No. D-3/2026-GEN Date: 17-02-2026 MEMORANDUM Subject: Celebration of 75th ESIC Foundation Day on 24th February – reg. Employees’ State Insurance Corporation will be celebrating its 75th Foundation Day on 24th February. The occasion marks an important milestone in the journey of ESIC in delivering social security and healthcare services to Insured Persons and their families across the country. In order to commemorate this significant event in a befitting manner, it has been decided that all Regional Offices (ROs), Sub-Regional Offices (SROs), ESIC Hospitals, Medical Colleges, and other ESIC establishments shall undertake the following activities: 1. Tree Plantation Drive A special tree plantation drive shall be organised within the campus/premises of all ESIC establishments on 24th February 2026. Further, in Delhi NCR regions, the plantation drive shall be organised on 26th February, 2026. Suitable indigenous and environment-friendly saplings may be planted. Efforts may be made to involve officers, staff and beneficiaries in the activity. Proper arrangements for post-plantation care and maintenance shall be ensured. 2. Illumination of ESIC Campus All ESIC Offices, Hospitals, Medical Colleges and other establishments shall illuminate their buildings/campuses during the fortnight from 21st February to 7th March Illumination should be carried out in a dignified and aesthetically appropriate manner. Necessary arrangements may be made in advance to ensure proper lighting. 3. Special Cleanliness Drive A special cleanliness drive shall be conducted in all ESIC premises prior to and on 24th February. Offices, hospital wards, common areas, waiting halls, record rooms and surrounding premises shall be thoroughly cleaned. D/3/2026-GEN I/3597173/2026 Emphasis shall be laid on maintaining hygiene standards, especially in hospitals and medical institutions. Staff participation may be encouraged to promote the spirit of Swachhta. All concerned Heads of Offices/Medical Superintendents/Deans are requested to ensure that the above activities are carried out in an organized and meaningful manner. A compliance report along with good quality videos/photographs of the event may be sent to this branch via mail at general-hq@esic.gov.in and also to PR branch Hq at pr.branch-hq@esic.gov.in.
