Subject: Clarification regarding the effective date of revised CGHS package rates

Please refer to this office OM dated 05-01-2026 vide which revised CGHS package rates notified vide Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOHFW) Office Memorandum No. 5-16/CGHS(HQ)/HEC/2024 (Part1) dated 03.10.2025, was adopted in ESIC. In this regard, various references are being received in this office seeking clarification regarding the effective date of the revised CGHS Rates.

In this regard, it is clarified that the OM dated 03.10.2025 of MOHFW was adopted in toto, by ESIC. Hence the effective date of the revised CGHS Rates in ESIC are same as that is in the said OM of MOHFW.

This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
